It being a Tuesday, I missed out on the first-hand account of the day's activities. In fact, all that was left for me to do was have a snoop around. It being light, I got up on the scaffolding to get some pictures...
Firstly we have a shot of the completed brickwork and fascias...
Interestingly, it would appear that slathering the ridge tiles in cement is no longer the norm. Instead they appear to be held in place by bits of plastic. I could be wrong as it doesn't look entirely finished on the dormer side...
Then we have a shot through the landing window. Looks like they've continued to clean out the dust, rubble and insulation so that the reinforcing beams can be fixed in place to create a floor. Need to get rid of the rest of the detritus that came with the house though...
That's everything I spotted. I presume delivery of the wood happened smoothly as I didn't get any phone calls.
