The dormer is looking much more like a room today. Albeit a room with a roof in it!
It's a funky little space. I could easily hide in there from the offspring and just chill all weekend. Don't think I'll get away with that though!
For planning purposes, the dormer has to be slightly smaller than the rest of the house, so we will have some roof around the dormer, as can be seen here:
