Odd jobs during the week

In an attempt to get more done, I attempted the unthinkable - getting DIY done during the week. This did not do my sanity any good. Nevertheless, some progress was made even if it was painfully slow progress...

Monday

During my lunch break I sanded down the door frame for it's second coat of paint. Managed to also apply said coat of paint to the hard to reach places

Then in the evening I managed to reattach the door to the doorframe

Wednesday

Spent the evening attaching handles to the drawers in the kitchen.

Thursday

Builder turned up unannounced, couldn't get in as we happened to be out. He had to take the rotten under-stairs window out and then climb inside the house. He did a fair few bits and pieces round the house once he was in.

Big things were the new under-stairs window and finishing the old kitchen's window.

He also put some wooden trims around the staircase and smothered it in sealant, put some missing plaster into place and dumped some uneeded building materials down the bottom of the garden where I obviously never go nor care about.
