I have wood. Bigger than anticipated but it's right there for the world to see. It arrived just at the right time too, because someone arrived shortly after to inspect the erection.
Very soon, there will be a roof here. The wall on the left of the picture is massive. The builder has more scaffolding down the side of the house now - he's made an obstacle course worthy of the Crystal Maze!
Building inspector was happy. Figuratively, at least; not sure about literally.
I'm expecting a visit from Mr Chatty tomorrow morning. Mr SIMP didn't bring the bag of sand that was needed when he visited this afternoon. I'm assuming they alternate but I have no evidence for that, it's just been a while.
Tomorrow the windows and door get ordered. So that's the latest cosmetic decisions made. It's looking like we can't have side opening windows but the supplier is going to see what they can do and give us some options.
