Popped my head through the loft hatch this evening and my first shock was from how light it was. As the wind blew through my hair, I then noticed the amount of space available!
I think the beams holding the roof must extend across the full width of mine and my neighbour's houses. That's got to be 9 to 10 metres of wood! Amazing!
The weather has really turned this afternoon. The wind and rain is buffeting the new dormer. Will have to keep an eye out for leaks but so far so good.
What a transformation this week! In just a couple of days really. I'm looking forward to planning out this space and fit all 3 offspring up here. In the meantime, it's more DIY for us in the kitchen!
