So the action actually started last night with Tracy finishing off the sealing coat. That was just a couple of hours at the end of an already busy day for her but I'm not counting it as an extra day of work. Sorry.
Today, however, Tracy emptied two tubs of paint. One tub of "North Pole" on the ceiling and a tub of "Frosted Steel" on the three non-feature walls.
The ceiling was particularly thirsty still, so despite covering a 16 sq metre surface with a tub with 30 sq metres of coverage worth of paint, there's still a section that she didn't have enough paint for.
The walls were much better behaved though and the tin ran out as expected. Tracy left the edge detail to me, so that the lines are nice and straight. I liked the colour far more than I thought I would. With the dark blue kitchen units (which I really must get ordered) I think it's going to look great.
