Firstborn Moves In

Firstborn began moving in to her new room today. 

We had to do some gymnastics with the bed frame to minimise how much we dismantled it. Rotating it in the jam-packed space available was not easy but we got it done.

Now that the bed is in, there's more space than I imagined. The door opens fully (in fact, the bedpost acts nicely as a door stop) and the ladder doesn't need moving.

I definitely need to work on lighting though. 

Firstborn moved some of her things but it will take another evening or two to get everything up there. She was so excited to be moving in. She was also excited to use her new duvet set - likely because it has sparkly unicorns on it.
