Build Day 66

It's after 1am and we've just got back from an evening out at the theatre. It was Walking In The Rain and I had no idea what the film was about so had no idea what to expect. I guessed right that it was going to be a love story.

Anyway, I digress. I was at home for all of 10 minutes before heading out again so I have very little knowledge of what's gone on today. Some would say that's nothing new, but again, I digress.

The carpenter came again with his classy music, banging out the tunes. He also did the rest of the skirting boards in the loft and landing.

Doors were fitted to the entry to the loft storage space. They are held in place magnetically.

Builders went over some of the plastering on the 1st floor landing. Mostly to just smooth the transition between what was once two rooms. They also plastered the little bit of ceiling that had been missed.

No electrician today. Hoping for tomorrow. Well, in a few hours time.

I think the guttering and fascias (on the outside of the house, if you needed the hint) are complete but I haven't checked or been specifically told. I'm just guessing based on how long they've been working on it.

Sorry for the complete absence of pictures. The offspring are all asleep so I didn't want to be rummaging around and putting lights on.

Oh, before I forget, I tried to report the damaged kitchen units but the website wouldn't let me. That could be because I had the audacity to use my phone rather than a computer. So I'll have to try again tomorrow/later.

Right now I need sleep. Night all
