So aside from the (inevitable?) mess on the floor, and aside from tripping our fuseboard (cutting the electricity to the house and not letting us know), some actual plastering has occurred...

The second-born was assisting with the pictures and has made various videos. Okay so most of the videos are of her singing Lion King songs but they were done in the extension so I guess that still counts?

In other news, we paid a visit to Yorkshire this weekend, which is where we intend to get our kitchen from. Quality looks good and we've decided on a final finish. Just got to order it now. Our plan is currently in a sense-check phase with the manufacturer. I found out today that the worktops and handles are discontinued and they also have reservations about the hob going over a dishwasher that I have to resolve/investigate.

Then we came home and priced up all of the appliances. My goodness was that pricey! Just about the same as the kitchen units! Haven't ordered them yet.

What we have ordered is the flooring. We're going with floor tiles and it was love at first sight for Tracy...
