Build Day 57

Now the builder reckons I don't do enough either! FFS 🤣

Swiftly moving on, the frame of the new wall was in place, ready for plasterboard. The fun doesn't stop there though, because I was allowed to traverse the new staircase and properly look at the new rooms!

Firstborn's room feels massive! Not sure it still will once the bed is in but for now it's an amazing space.

Over in the other bedroom, this felt narrower than I had anticipated. Still a good space but is it enough for two offsprings?

Back out on the new landing you can see the good amount of storage space that's available. 

Tracy was very excited to see the new space. She hadn't seen it IRL yet because she hasn't wanted to climb up onto the scaffolding. Not that I wanted to but I needed to get pictures of the progress!

Since access to the loft is now available from the inside, the last of the dormer windows was fitted. Balance has been restored!

I now have a week off work. The kitchen is due to arrive at some point next week so hopefully I'll be able to use my time off to get that sorted. Can't say I'd mind having an excuse to do nothing though. Is this why I keep getting accused of laziness? 🤔
