Loft bedroom decorating, episode 4

Dad kindly came over during the week and sanded down the woodwork in the small bedroom. Builder was also supposed to come round and finish the last few odd jobs but didn't show.

Thursday's sanding was in preparation for today's painting of the woodwork. You may recognise the colour. It's the same paint from the first iteration of the firstborn's room; I'd bought way too much of it so it's good to use some more of it...

While Dad beavered away in the small room I was at work in the big room. Painted behind the radiators with a must coat before giving the whole room a normal coat. Even managed to do some of the edges.

You'll notice that the lights now work in the big bedroom. Turns out that I was fed duff information regarding explosions. So when I actually tried some bulbs and they worked... Well I may have muttered a few choice words!!!

Not DIY related but another job I did this morning was to unfreeze the waste water pipe (the one that goes to the bath). At first it didn't look much, but then I got it inside...
