Only one of the builders came round today. He set about cutting roof tiles and fitting them across the back of the dormer.
I think the one side of the dormer has been done yesterday.
I'm not sure how I feel about the tiles on the corner. They look slightly wonky up close but I don't think it's noticeable from the ground.
Two floors down, in the kitchen, I started well. Got the last door sanded and given its second coat of stain. I sanded down the door frame (offsprings 1 & 2 helped too). Then I stopped for lunch.
Alas, everyone else required attention during/after lunch so even though I spent the afternoon (and evening) running around like a blue arsed fly, I have no further progress to report. I'm disappointed, but it can't be helped. Tracy wants me to make clear that she was ill and not being a lazy parent.
